  • Strange Musharraf Behavior

    Dear Readers:

General Pervez Musharraf sometimes behaves in an amazing way. Last week he was in that mood and frankly admitted before the editors of national newspapers that everything his Government had done was either wrong, incomplete, not well considered or out rightly scandalous. But in the same vein Musharraf put the blame for all these failures somewhere else, not his own decisions or that of the Army junta he leads.

How can he do that and get away with it is the key question. One answer is that he rules the country with the barrel of his gun and all arguments and logic end when the question of ultimate power comes in. How will this situation end is anybody’s guess but in the past the end to such deadlocked situation has been violent. Pray it is better this time.

    Take Care
